Immersive wellness in Barcelona:
the SABDA report.

Last updated:

The most interesting number in SABDA’s data is a gap.

Sound healing accounts for 12.5 percent of the classes SABDA schedules, yet it is one of the two most-booked formats on the timetable. Demand for sound healing runs well ahead of the supply of it, and that gap is the clearest signal in three years of booking data.

Schedule mix measured across 1,985 scheduled sessions on the SABDA timetable.

"We built the room so people practise inside the visuals instead of in front of a screen. That is the whole difference."

Context

What the gap
means.

A studio schedules what it can staff and what fills reliably. Sound healing sits at 12.5 percent of the timetable because it is harder to programme than a mat class, not because fewer people want it. The booking data says the opposite of the schedule.

"Every other immersive space in Barcelona is something you walk through. Ours is something you move inside."

Method

How these
were measured.

SABDA booking data via Momence, from opening in late 2023 to August 2026. Figures are unique individuals, not total attendances.

The schedule mix figure is measured separately, across 1,985 scheduled sessions on the current timetable. Class counts were verified against the live schedule rather than taken from marketing copy.

FAQ

Common questions.
