Barcelona Exhibitions in November 2026: What's On and Prices

If you are visiting in late autumn, these are the Barcelona exhibitions in November 2026 worth planning a day around. November is when the city's museums open their winter season: Picasso and architecture at the Picasso Museum, World Press Photo at the CCCB, two new shows at the MNAC, and two festivals of digital and video art, while the big October openings are still running. Below: what opens, what closes, what is free, and how long to allow for each.

Every date and price was checked on each venue's official website on 28 September 2026, based on what had been announced by then. We will keep updating it as new dates are confirmed. One venue on the list is ours, and we say so where it appears.

New in November

Aurèlia Muñoz at MACBA, from 5 November

MACBA, the contemporary art museum in the Raval, opens "Beings", an exhibition devoted to the Barcelona textile artist Aurèlia Muñoz, on 5 November. The collection display "Spiral of Time" continues until 17 January 2027. Tickets cost €15 and cover the whole museum; entry is free from Thursday to Saturday from 18:00 and on the first Sunday of the month. Closed on Tuesdays. macba.cat

World Press Photo at the CCCB, 6 November to 13 December

The annual World Press Photo exhibition returns to the CCCB from 6 November to 13 December 2026. Tickets cost €8 (€6 reduced), and the CCCB is free on Sundays from 15:00 to 20:00 with an online booking.

How long to allow: about an hour. How to book: online, especially for free Sunday slots.

Two new shows at the MNAC

The Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya on Montjuïc opens "El viaje inverso. Un fresco sonoro en el románico" on 12 November (until 30 April 2027), and "Jujol, de Perejaume" on 26 November (until 29 March 2027). A general ticket costs €12 and is valid for two days within a month. From October, the museum opens Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 to 18:00 and Sundays 10:00 to 15:00; it is free on Saturdays from 15:00 and the first Sunday of the month, with online booking. museunacional.cat

"Picasso and Architecture" at the Picasso Museum, from 20 November

The Museu Picasso in the Born opens "Picasso and Architecture" on 20 November 2026, running until 7 March 2027. Tickets cost €12 online. Entry is free on Thursdays from 16:00 to 19:00 and on the first Sunday of the month, but you must book; free tickets are released four days ahead at 10:00. museupicassobcn.cat

Robert Llimós at Can Framis, from 10 November

The Fundació Vila Casas shows Robert Llimós at its Can Framis museum in Poblenou from 10 November 2026 to 7 February 2027. General admission is €10, free for under-12s.

Immersive and digital exhibitions

SABDA's new immersive show (Eixample), open since 17 October

Full disclosure: SABDA is our venue. SABDA's new immersive show is a 25 minute journey through four worlds of life on Earth, made in Unreal Engine and projected across the four walls of a 360° room with Dolby Atmos sound, for 25 people per session at C/ Muntaner 83B in the Eixample.

The show opened on 17 October 2026 and runs through November on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets cost €20 for adults and €12 for children, and include a welcome glass of cava or juice in SABDA Café. You travel at animal eye level and, for 25 minutes, become one of them. There is no headset. The nearest metro is Universitat. Details and tickets are on SABDA's exhibitions page.

How long to allow: 25 minutes, plus the welcome drink. How to book: online in advance, since each session holds 25 people.

MIRA and LOOP: November's festivals

MIRA Digital Arts Festival, 6 and 7 November. Audiovisual live shows, installations and 360° fulldome pieces at Fira Montjuïc, with Max Cooper, Arca, Helena Hauff, Nicola Cruz and Tortoise. A full pass costs €110 and a day pass €60, plus fees. mirafestival.com

LOOP Barcelona, 10 to 21 November. The video art festival runs across museums, galleries and cinemas. The LOOP Fair, with each project shown in a hotel room, runs from 17 to 19 November. loop-barcelona.com

• Casa Batlló (Passeig de Gràcia 43). Every ticket includes the Gaudí Cube, with Refik Anadol's "Gaudí Dreams". "Gaudí-Miró-Gomis: Deconstructed" runs until 10 January 2027. From €29, free for children up to 12. Allow 1 hour 15 minutes.
• Moco Museum (Carrer de Montcada 25, Born). Banksy, KAWS and digital and immersive rooms. From €14.95, free for children up to 6. Allow an hour.
• Codi Gaudí (Espai Imagina, Av. Diagonal 177). Mixed and virtual reality, until 8 January 2027. From €12.50 on Mondays, closed on Tuesdays. Allow 70 minutes.
• Iniesta Experience: The Inner Game (Moll d'Espanya). Until 10 January 2027, from €18. Allow 90 minutes.
• Dalí Boulevard Cibernètic (Casa Amatller). From €15 on weekdays. Allow 75 minutes.
• White Rabbit (Passeig de Gràcia 55). Ten immersive rooms by local artists, from €16. Allow 60 to 90 minutes.
• IKONO (Arenas). Photo-friendly immersive rooms, daily 12:00 to 19:00. Allow 45 to 60 minutes.
• Museum of Banksy (Carrer Trafalgar 34). €14, free for under-6s.
• Antarctica Experience (Arenas). From €12.90, no end date published. Allow 45 to 75 minutes.

Is it still on? The exhibitions people search for

• Pompeii (IDEAL Montjuïc): finished on 21 September 2026. IDEAL has not announced its next show.
• Titanic: no tickets on sale. Not open.
• Van Gogh: nothing running or announced in Barcelona. See our Van Gogh in Barcelona guide.
• Egypt and Tutankhamun: the Tutankhamun show ended in June 2024. No Egypt exhibition is open.
• Goya: Goya Universe at the Centre d'Art Amatller was advertising its "last days" in late September, with no end date. Check its site before going.
• Sorolla: no Sorolla exhibition is confirmed in Barcelona.
• Cleopatra: Madrid only.
• Eonarium and Mundo Pixar: both finished in Barcelona.

Art museums

La Pedrera. "The Secret Life of Plants. Anselm Kiefer in the Grothe Collection" runs until 24 January 2027. €16 (€12 reduced), free for under-12s. Allow an hour.

MNAC. Besides the two new shows, the "Wounded Militiaman" exhibition and "Sim. Acquisition, Drawing and War" run until 31 December.

CCCB. "The Cult of Beauty" closes on 8 November, so the first week of the month is your last chance. €8 online.

CaixaForum. "Una fuerza del pasado", from the "la Caixa" Foundation's contemporary art collection, until 10 January 2027. €6, free for under-16s.

Museu Tàpies. Dora García's project runs until 29 November. €15.

Design Museum (Disseny Hub). "André Ricard. Design in use" from 29 October, and the Enjoia't jewellery awards until 29 November. €6.20.

Sant Pau. The free Gaudí centenary exhibition at the Recinte Modernista closes on 15 November.

CosmoCaixa. The shark exhibition "Tiburones. Los guardianes del océano", open since 22 October, is included in the €8 ticket and free for under-16s. Good for families; see our guide to Barcelona shows for kids.

KBr Fundación MAPFRE (Barceloneta). Dana Lixenberg's "American Images" and KBr Flama'26, until 17 January 2027. €5, free on Tuesdays that are not public holidays.

Foto Colectania (Born). The Foto Colectania collection, until 4 February 2027. €5, or €8 on a joint ticket with KBr. Free on the first Sunday of the month from 11:00 to 15:00.

World Press Photo (CCCB). 6 November to 13 December.

Galeria Senda. Robert Mapplethorpe, "Un/known Pleasures", from 11 November. Free, like all galleries.

Free exhibitions in November

First Sunday: 1 November. It is also All Saints' Day, a public holiday. The MNAC, MACBA, Picasso Museum and the city museums are free on the first Sunday; check each museum's holiday hours before you go.

Every Sunday from 15:00. City museums such as the MUHBA, the Museu Blau and the Maritime Museum, and the CCCB from 15:00 to 20:00.

Always free. La Virreina Centre de la Imatge (from 31 October, Marion Scemama and David Wojnarowicz), Palau Robert, La Fabra, Arts Santa Mònica and the Fundació Suñol.

A November weekend in three plans

Saturday morning on Montjuïc. The MNAC and its two new shows, or go after 15:00 when entry is free. CaixaForum is a short walk downhill.

Saturday afternoon in the Eixample. Anselm Kiefer at La Pedrera, then SABDA's 25 minute immersive show a short walk away, with the welcome drink in SABDA Café to finish.

Sunday in the Raval and Born. World Press Photo at the CCCB, free from 15:00 with a booking, and from 20 November, "Picasso and Architecture" at the Picasso Museum.
